Designed by Dawn began with love, family and one very special wedding.

When my daughter was preparing to get married in April 2025, her fiancé’s severe allergies meant that fresh flowers were not an option. Together, we visited an artificial flower warehouse and created a bouquet she truly loved.

I went on to handcraft all the flowers for their wedding, including the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, buttonholes and matching floral accessories. On the day, the arrangements received so many lovely compliments that my niece asked me to create the flowers for her own wedding the following year.

After designing a second complete wedding collection, I realised how much I enjoyed creating timeless floral arrangements—and how much they meant to the people receiving them. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to turn my passion into Designed by Dawn.
